Melita and I got married in beautiful Lake Tahoe. On our wedding day, we met at the airport in Reno, Nevada. She flew in from the Philippines and I flew in from Minnesota. We rented a car and drove down to Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful day and a fun drive. I’ll never forget it. Because of the fact that we met online and did  99+% of our communication either through email or the telephone, this was only the second time that we had spent time alone together. We got married in a cute little wedding chapel and had a nice honeymoon stay in Lake Tahoe. The weather was beautiful and hot (as it usually is in June) but I love hot weather. That’s another thing I like about the Philippines.  On the ride back to Reno (to drop off our rental car and catch our plane back to Minnesota) we stopped alone the way to take pictures and see the sites. It’s so beautiful out there and I love the mountains as well. What a great time! One of the best parts of being married is having children. I’ve always loved kids and having my own is AWESOME! Jack Ryan was born March 18th, 2004 and he’s truly my best buddy. He’s all fun all the time. I love making him laugh. I try to get him laughing 30-40 times a day or more when I have the available time. After we had Jack and knew we were having another baby I was actually hoping to have another boy. And if I was to be truly honest, I was actually a little (not much though) disappointed when we found out we were having a girl. What a FOOL I was! Jamie Melita came into our lives on July 15th, 2007.  She is the cutest, sweetest little girl that I can imagine. Having a boy is definitely great but having a girl is indescribably great.  She is so much different than her brother. She is very sensitive so I’m careful not to raise my voice around her or she thinks that I’m mad at her. But how can a person be mad at this little girl? She’s my little darling. She’s absolutely captivating and somewhat angelic to me. I love them both so much.
